Taking part in the PADI Divemaster Course is the first step in expanding your diving knowledge and mastering your skills, to become a professional diver.

After completeing the PADI Divemaster Course will be able to take certified divers on casual dives and assist PADI Instructors with courses.

Minimum age: 18 years

The PADI Divemaster Course takes a minimum of two weeks, although it is best to do it as an internship in order to gain experience working in a dive centre. The course is hard work but alot of fun. It sets you on the road to becoming a professional diver who will be able to work worldwide.

The prerequisites for this course are:

1. You must be a certified Rescue Diver.
2. You must have logged at least 20 dives to start and 60 dives on completion.
3. You must be a minimum of 18 years old.
4. You must have a valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
(If you do not have this we can do the Emergency First Response Course for you).

R4500-00 per person, excluding crew pack (R1400-00)
Price excludes PADI registration fee.

AQUA PLANET offers 2 types of internships:

1. You do your PADI Divemaster Course with us and get valuable experience working in a dive shop.

2. You sign on for a year with Aqua Planet and we will take you up to Divemaster and cover all the costs. If you are interested in this option, please send a C.V. to Kym at info@aquaplanet.co.za.
