PADI Advanced Diver Course

This THREE DAY course is designed to give the qualified diver a taste of what more specialized diving activities have to offer, whilst builing your diving experience and confidence.

AQUA PLANET offers a fun filled course with a wide variety of dives, covering several dive sites! From aquarium diving in Durban,to exploring the wrecks of Aliwal Shoal, Durban and Umhlanga. For the more adventurous, shark diving is available at Protea Banks and in the winter months at Aliwal Shoal.

In order to participate in the course you need to be a qualified diver.

A Deep and Navigation dive plus 3 elective dives are compulsory in order to qualify as a PADI Advanced Diver. You can choose any 3 of the following elective dives, depending on your interests:

- Night Diving
- Wreck Diving
- Fish Identification
- Underwater Naturalist
- Underwater Photography - you need your own photographic equipment
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Drift Diving
- Multi-level and Computer Diving
- Search and Recovery

After completion of this course, you will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 30m.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver - 5 dives
