22 June 2015 | PROTEA BANKS
Sea Temp: 22 degrees Celsius
DIVE 1 - Northern Pinnacles: With the current being strong we got to both caves. The first cave had nothing, but the second cave had 3 Ragged-tooth sharks. 2 Potato Bass and lots of reef fish on the bottom. Mid water we had 2 Zambezi (Bull) sharks, 1 Greater Hammerhead shark, 3 Oceanic Blacktip sharks and a Dusky shark. If that did not get you green with envy, we also had about 20 DOLPHINS come past.
In the surface interval there was so much Whale action ... EPIC. And 2 Turtles also seen from the boat.
DIVE 2 - Northern Pinnacles: The second dive we had 2 Potato Bass on the bottom. Lots of Kingfish, Rainbow Runners and False Fusiliers. Mid water ... wait for it ... A HUMPBACK WHALE .... WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP!!!!!!! Thank you so much Hilary Jenkins for the picture ... you made Michelle's day ... actually life!!! After that 3 Oceanic Blacktip sharks.
Lots of Jellyfish and Plankton today.
