8 January 2016 | PROTEA BANKS
Current: medium - strong
Viz: 15 - 20m (milky)
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius
Southern Pinnacle: As soon as we got to the reef the action kicked off with a bang. We had huge shoals of Bigeye Kingfish, lots of Rainbow Runners, 2 Potato Bass, a massive Parrot Fish and lots of beautiful reef fish. We also had a Greater Hammerhead Shark, a Shoal of about 50 Hammerhead Sharks passed by, 2 Eagle Rays, 2 Round Ribbontail Rays and at least 4 Guitar Sharks. And it only got better from there. Mid water we had 2 sets of 100's of Shoaling Hammerhead Sharks pass by, 2 Oceanic Blacktip Sharks and at least 4 Zambezi (Bull) Sharks popping in and out right until we got out of the water. GREAT DIVE!!!!!!
